Jim is a resident of Old Forge, PA who works full-time as a track announcer at a harness racing track in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  Jim has been freelance writing for CultureMap since February, concentrating on music reviews and lists as well as Fantasy Football articles.  Before CultureMap, he wrote for other music-related sites, contributing several well-regarded song countdowns of artists like The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen.  He is a devoted Dad to his daughter, Daniele, who inherited his love of music, and has been with his girlfriend Marie, lovingly referred to in his articles as "The Better Half", for six years.
