John Flood

John has been an avid motor sports fan since he was a child. Born and raised in NASCAR country, his interest in racing began at the red dirt tracks of the deep south, but his attention quickly turned to the international racing scene, particularly Formula 1.

He likes technology, and he makes daily bread working as a "smart utility grid" consultant. Formula 1 cars are some of the most technically sophisticated machines on the planet, and he has been writing about the sport for years.

The addition of Austin to the F1 circus is a dream come true for him and many other U.S. fans. You can read more on his blog, Formula 1 Journal.
