In 2009, she graduated with a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin. She writes on a variety of topics, including feature profiles, local events, planning initiatives, urban design and architecture. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she currently lives in Austin with her husband, two cats and dog. The thing she loves most about Austin is the ever-present sunshine.
