AGE of Central Texas provides both education and support to people all along the spectrum of growing older. Each year, through primary interrelated programs that include adult day health care, early memory loss support, and peer-based computer classes for seniors, AGE serves more than 3,000 older adults in the Austin area. AGE operates under the belief that aging cuts across all socioeconomic levels and will touch everyone at some point in their lives. Through education, advocacy, and support, AGE empowers the community to access resources that protect and improve the quality of life for everyone along the lifetime spectrum. Many of its services are free or low-cost, and AGE has a special concern for providing services to the poor.

The Legacy Fund is a a group of passionate individuals who invest in AGE’s mission at an impactful level. This founding group of community investors — whose gifts are matched dollar by dollar by the Anderson Foundation — are helping create a foundation to launch AGE  into the next successful phase of serving the Central Texas community, as the need for services for older adults and family caregivers climbs rapidly.< div>
