One of Austin's most prestigious film festivals celebrates 20 years of movie magic with another celebration of the films we love and the brilliant minds behind them. Taking place at various theaters and venues in Austin, including the Paramount, the Bob Bullock Texas State History IMAX Theater, the Driskill Hotel and the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin, AFF not only brings in internationally renowned films but also projects made right here in our own backyards. 

The conference also pays special tribute like no other to the writers of these works, as they directly engage with fans in panels and discussions on making it as a screenwriter. It's a festival that has helped to earn Austin a reputation for a vibrant independent film scene.
