Dancing with the Stars Austin features various Austin notables and celebrities paired with professional dancers for ballroom dancing performances and an evening of entertainment. This night on the dance floor will feature a new group of community members competing for the mirror ball trophy and to help raise money for abused children in Austin. The Center for Child Protection has used the money from this event to provide more services to children, teens and families suffering from abuse with the help of psychiatric services and pet therapy.
