The Austin Powwow and American Indian Heritage Festival serves as the largest, single-day powwow in the country, and helps to bring out and connect American Indian families with their heritage and inviting the greater Austin community to also experience these cultures firsthand. Vendors will have arts and crafts for sale, while families can enjoy outdoor storytelling and an American Indian dance contest.
