As proclaimed by Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell, July is “Sandwich Generation Month,” recognizing the dedication, patience and caring of adults who are caring for their children as well as their own aging parents. To celebrate, AGE of Central Texas and Griswold Home Care are partnering with Austin Parks & Recreation, the City of Austin and the Asian American Resource Center to offer the first annual Inter-Generational Fun Fair on Saturday, July 19.

Along with offering information on City departments and local nonprofits, guests can enjoy a day of fun that includes exploring the Austin Fire Department’s new Safety House, creating artwork with Mobile Art Program, Zumba with WeViva and much more.
