Pit Stop takes a subtle and eloquent approach in telling the parallel stories of two gay men in a small Texas town. Far from the gay centers of the world, director Yen Tan explores the complex and often forgotten lives of gay men in small-town America.

The understated, contemplative nature of the main characters Ernesto and Gabe’s story is told from the perspective of an observer, allowing us - even if just for a moment - to understand what it means to be an outsider. This film contains adult themes and may not be suitable for people under 16.

In celebration of the five year anniversary of Yen Tan's Pit Stop, Tan and fellow cast and crew will be in attendance and will be a part of a post-show Q&A. Pre-show entertainment will include music, art, and food, as well as the chance to register for badges to this year’s aGLIFF.
