Artists Laurel Daniel and Sandra Langston both grew up loving nature, with Daniel starting with her Wisconsin woods and moving to Texas wild landscapes, and the Canadian-born, Texas-raised Langston mixing her past with her present home in Italy. Both artists explore how we inhibit nature and how it influences us as individuals, our ideals and fears. Some works are serene and calming, others look into the mystical sides of our dreams, our fantasies and ourselves.

And opening reception will take place on October 5, with the exhibition on view until November 16.
