Like a superhero saves the day, world renowned supergroup Asia molds the look, feel and sound of progressive rock ‘n roll. After thirty decades and fifteen records, the legacy continues with founding band members – bassist/vocalist John Wetton (formerly of King Crimson and Uriah Heep), drummer Carl Palmer (formerly of Emerson Lake and Palmer), keyboardist Geoff Downes (formerly of Yes and The Buggles ) and guitarist Steve Howe (formerly of Yes) – together again. Original Asia hits include “Only Time Will Tell”, “Heat of the Moment”, “Sole Survivor”, “Wildest Dreams”, “Don’t Cry” and “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”. The heat goes on for Asia in 2012 as the band releases their new studio project, “XXX”, in July and reissues their debut self-titled album later this year.
