Bring the kiddos out for a special pre-concert instrument petting zoo, where they can get up close to some of the instruments that will be used that evening. Then the concert starts with music that includes creepy and spooky favorites such as Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and music from the Harry Potter films. Guest pianist Michelle Schumann will perform Franz Liszt’s Totentanz (Dance of the Dead). The orchestra will appear in fun and festive costumes. As a special treat, children under the age of 12 will receive some Halloween swag. Please feel free to come in costume.
