To mark the close of Civil War Sesquicentennial, the Austin History Center is launching a new exhibit called Divided City: Civil War and Reconstruction in Austin. This collection explores how this watershed moment in American history impacted our local community. Hundreds of photographs and original documents are on display to help visitors learn about this period of our history and how the legacy it left behind and continues to influence our community today.

During the opening reception, enjoy refreshments from the students at the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. The exhibit runs through June 21.
