Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)Belly up to the bar for an open mic night, open to aspiring and independent hip-hop emcees in Austin. For two hours, the flood is open to absolutely anyone who is willing to sign in, take the stage, perform a track of their own or free style over a live beat spun by a live DJ. The night will close out with a short set from the host. Performers will also be selected to appear on a mixtape released by Hip-Hop Hooray.
Freestyling, slam poetry, versus and tracks are all welcomed for the event, which is held every tuesday from 11 p.m.- 1:30 a.m.
