Austin-Oita Sister City Committee presents Oita Japan Festival

The Oita Japan Festival is a family-friendly celebration of Japanese culture featuring Shodo-Japanese calligraphy with music and dance, Sho and Shin ukulele duo, Japanese drumming by Austin Taiko, Kendo martial arts, Japanese food, kids activities, an artisan and festival marketplace, seminars on doing business in and traveling to Japan, an opportunity to make Japanese tea, and a silent auction.
