Austin Parks Foundation will present the citywide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day. It’s My Park Day will bring together thousands of Austinites to help improve and transform parks, trails, and greenbelts throughout Austin. Volunteer projects will include city-approved tree mulching, root collar clearing, habitat restoration, and trail maintenance, as well as park and creek cleanups.
The event will take place at more than 80 different parks, greenbelts, and trails throughout the city, including Zilker Park, the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Shoal Creek, Dick Nichols District Park, Waller Creek, Bouldin Creek, and Mount Bonnell.
