Austin Parks Foundation is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil Patterson Park’s improvements and redeveloped playground. Members of the community can join the celebration and enjoy the new playground. Breakfast tacos and coffee will be provided by Friends of Patterson Park will be served upon arrival, followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Council Member Kathie Tovo alongside members of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, APF and Friends of Patterson Park. Fun activities for the kids includes face painting, snow cones, and kite flying (guests are encouraged to bring their own kites).
