What is a better way to welcome 2018 than with a tubular concert celebrating the gnarly music from the '80s, titled I Heart the '80s. A decade known for its parachute pants, jelly bracelets and big hair, the Austin Symphony Orchestra will transport the audience with classics by George Michael, Cyndi Lauper, David Bowie and Michael Jackson, to name a few. Vocalists Jessica Phillips and Tony Vincent join the ASO for hits like “Footloose,” “Born in the U.S.A.,” “Holiday,” and “1999.”
