If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On! - The Music of Shakespeare's Plays

This unique program for audiences of all ages offers songs and dances mentioned or alluded to in the plays of William Shakespeare, including As You Like ItThe Tempest and Hamlet. The Austin Troubadours will present their historically informed performance with authentic instruments and period costumes, along with dances from the period such as jigs, pavanas and almans. Featured at the concert are soprano Jenifer Thyssen, Neli Vujisic on harpsichord, Victor Eijkhout on recorders and crumhorn, Bruce Colson on baroque violin, percussionist Oliver Rajamani, John Walters on viola da gamba and Slobodan Vujisic on the lute.
