Austin Troubadours presents Balkan Caravan

Austin Troubadours will present a concert of traditional music from the Balkan region. An evening of traditional dances and songs from Serbia, Macedonia, Turkey and Greece; performed on authentic instruments from the Balkan region (Oud, saz, frula, violin, daf…) Balkan-style show of ancient tunes, hypnotic rhythms and lively melodies from the old world. The Austin Troubadours are joining forces with Austin’s favorite world music stars, Roberto Riggio (violin), Julie Slim-Nessif and Vesna Mirkovic (vocals) for a unique celebration of the Balkan music.
