Alamo Drafthouse and Blue Owl Brewing presents Six Pack Stories: Sour Showdown
Sour Beer. Hundreds of breweries in the United States are dabbling in, dedicating a sour program, and some are even producing only sours. Though the topic is hot and the beer is delicious, “sour beer” is still in its infancy stage and the spotlight is now pointed towards the breweries, the Brewers Association, and the people that created new technology to define specifically what sour beer means.
Before the definition comes to light, the industry first needs to agree on some of the basics of what makes a sour beer and communicate this to the consumer. This conversation will unfold with some of the pioneers of sour beer in the American craft beer industry in a fun game of trivia in front of a live studio audience and broadcast to the world via Google Hangout.
