Austin poets Shubh Bala Schiesser and Elaine Hosage are the evening's featured guests. Shubh Schiesser’s work has been published in a variety of journals and anthologies, including Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, the Texas Poetry Calendar, Ardent, The Enigmatist, and more. Elaine Hosage is a visual artist whose poems have appeared in the Di-Verse-City, Best Austin Poetry, and CatTales V anthologies; she published a collection of poems, Thoughts on a Beach, in 2013. Cindy Huyser hosts, and an open mic follows.
