BookWoman Second Thursday Open Mic with Marcelle Kasprowicz
Featured poet Marcelle Kasprowicz is the author of three volumes of poetry: Organza Skies, Children Playing with Leopards and Out of Light, Darkness. Kasprowicz writes in both English and French, and translates her French poems to English. Her work is influenced by her childhood in France during WWII and its aftermath. Published in a variety of venues, her work has been awarded several prizes, including a first prize in 2001 for her poem "House of Bones" in the AIPF Anthology di-verse-city. Cindy Huyser hosts.
