Carbaret: Hill Country Drive-In Festival

CarBaret is going big in the Texas Hill Country with Hye Rum Distillery, presenting Texas' first drive-in concert and film experience on 14 acres in Hye in Blanco County near Fredericksburg. The event benefits the Johnson City Fire Department.

The CarBaret Drive-In Festival features two evenings of blockbuster film and artists, featuring a performance by Two Tons of Steel and Jurassic Park on September 5, and Walk This Way (Aerosmith tribute) and Raiders of the Lost Ark on September 6.

Each car will be provided with goodies from Samsung and PPE like masks, gloves & Hye Hands High Proof Hand Spray. Guests will have their temperatures scanned upon arrival. Restrooms will besanitized after each use.

Guests can enjoy the entire show from the safe and socially distanced comfort of their own vehicles, with audio broadcast over the FM dial to cars, jamboxes, or transistor radios.

There is a limit of six people per vehicle. Food and drrinks packages are also available for purchase.
