The Illusory Impressions Project is a collaboration between composer and creative director Catherine Davis and choreographer Michelle Thompson the choreographer.

It will be a live performance and walking exhibit for the audience to choose their own adventure. There will be five different "scenes" in special rooms throughout the mansion performed on a loop for two hours, with each repetition being slightly deviated from the last. Each scene will involve original compositions/ choreography written for each of the musicians/modern dancers performing.

The audience is encouraged to see each scene two times, and be open to the idea that their snap judgments could be changed, reminding people that all of the impressions made on people is what makes them who they are, and changes how they effect everything in the world.

A unique part of the project is how the dancers dance and weave in and out of where the musician is giving their performance, accounting for the musician's performance as a part of the choreography and giving the project a more collaborative and intimate feel.
