The Hudsucker Proxy is one of the forgotten creations of the Coen Brothers, coming out to tepid reviews and box office numbers, but the fact that it narrowly missed losing the Cannes Palmes D'or to Pulp Fiction should be enough reason to check out the Coens' first big budget movie that's a mix of slapstick, biting satire, and just a good looking film. You can also take a chance on this film about hula hoops since Drafthouse beverage director Bill Norris will whip up a few handcrafted, themed cocktails for the show.
