Classical musicians Toby Blumenthal and Bruce Williams, performing together as Duo Amici, are taking classical chamber music out of the concert hall and into mainstream venues with Classical Sound.

Chamber music is performed by small ensembles, with one musician per part, performed without a conductor. Because of its intimate nature, chamber music has been described as "the music of friends."

Blumenthal will play a Steinway grand piano and Williams will join her on viola. Williams is the principal viola of the Austin Symphony Orchestra and violist for the Artisan String Quartet. He also is the Artistic Director and Founder of the Mason Chamber Music Festival and Director of Chamber Music for the Texas Bach Festival. Blumenthal is a piano soloist, chamber music collaborator, Artistic Director of Classic Chamber Concerts, and Steinway Artist.
