In conjunction with the exhibition Daniel Johnston: "I Live My Broken Dreams," The Contemporary Austin and Austin Film Society will co-present an open-air film screening of The Devil and Daniel Johnston (2005). This documentary film chronicles the life of legendary musician and visual artist Daniel Johnston through a blend of interviews, the artist’s home movies’ and audiotapes, and footage from his performances.
