Esther’s Follies is taking on D.C.’s  growing political theater at its best, with new sketches ripped from the national headlines. The Lyin’ King skewers the Commander-in-Chief and his cabinet with a Disney-eque musical. And Hillary is back in Hillary's Turn and better than ever in Vegas. Hil borrows her moves from the showgirls and a pantsuit from Siegfried and Roy. Still holding a torch for Trump? America’s Sweetheart, KellyAnne is right there with you in her musical tribute to Trump. And while a dance-off between Bill Nye the Science Guy and Neil deGrasse Tyson might add to global warming, they sing the praises of science and protecting the EPA. The semester has come to a close, summer job-seeking is upon us and the millennial woes of the deeply indebted and newly-unemployed are played out in “College Musical.” Ray Anderson’s amazing large-scale illusions, “Torched” and “The Claw” continue to delight and mystify.
