Hot Luck: Live Food & Music honors the soul, sweat and DIY diversity of the food and music world. Created and founded by James Beard Award winner Aaron Franklin, Guerilla Suit principal and Mohawk owner James Moody, and Mike Thelin, co-founder of Feast Portland, this Texas-sized get-together is the true Austin festival experience blending world-class culinary talent and live music.

The festival is an a la carte eat-with-your-fingers picnic and party experience that highlights open-pit feats of culinary know-how, and music that is as thoughtfully created as the food.

The 2019 lineup features Aaron, Matty Matheson, Alon Shaya, Gabriel Rucker, Jeremiah Stone, Sara Kramer & Sarah Hymanson, Chris Bianco, Chris Shepherd, Mason Hereford, Katie Button & more, with music from Lucero, Leftover Salmon, Archers of Loaf and others.

Hot Luck will donate a portion of the festival’s proceeds to The SAFE Alliance. The SAFE Alliance is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, both long-standing and respected human service agencies in Austin serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence.

A wide variety of food and music events at multiple venues comprise Hot Luck; go to the festival website for full schedule of events.
