Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) will continue the tradition of hosting one of the most uplifting nights of the year in Austin, the Hope Awards.

The heart of iACT’s work centers around inclusion, peace, and respect within a diverse environment. iACT’s various service programs, which strive to be an example of what it looks like to live in harmony and inclusion with one another, work on a daily basis to fulfill iACT’s mission of cultivating peace and respect. But, these programs need support from the larger community to make their service work possible.

The Hope Awards is iACT’s major fundraiser for these much-needed community service programs. These programs include Hands on Housing, which repairs the homes of very low-income seniors and people with disabilities, the iACT for Refugees program which provides Basic English instruction to newly-arrived refugees from around the world, and the Red Bench dialogue program which encourages important and meaningful conversations among diverse individuals.
