Don’t just watch a show, experience the chaos before a show. Come in, grab a seat and place it wherever you want to watch the action. Then, sit back and observe.  Or, help out. You may be asked to help run lighting cables, or help do a mic check. Or, your seat might be vicariously close to a wobbly ladder used by a technician to adjust a light structure above you; maybe you can give him a hand by holding the ladder?
