Mayor Lee Leffingwell welcomes author Ben Fountain, who will read from his book Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, followed by a conversation with Sarah Bird, author of The Gap Year. Book People will have copies available for sale, with a signing to follow.
Readers can also join Fountain for a writer's workshop at the Twin Oaks Branch Library earlier at 10:30 am. Space is limited, so call ahead at 512-542-0076 to reserve your spot.
