Ring in 2013 at Lustre Pearl. Big and small screen acclaimed actor Taylor Kitsch and Austin’s favorite The Band of Heathens are going to rock the city along with their friends to bring in the New Year with a special benefit to support the African Children’s Choir. The event and performance will showcase the strength and power of an education and demonstrate how Africa’s most vulnerable children are helping the children of tomorrow.

Other celebrities in attendance include Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, American Horror Story and the new hit show Nashville), Carla Gugino (Spy Kids, Entourage, Sin City and Political Animals) and Dana Wheeler-Nicholson (Fletch, Tombstone, Friday Night Lights). The festivities will include a DJ, silent auction, surprise band, unlimited midnight tacos and champagne toast. Proceeds of the event will fund The African Children's Choir.
