SFC Farmers' Market East: New Location Grand Opening

Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)SFC Farmers’ Market East (a project of the Sustainable Food Center), which opened last spring at Ed Bluestein and 51st Street, will be moving March 5 to its new location at MLK and Miriam Street, near the M Station at the MLK, Jr. Capital MetroRail stop. Market times are also changing to 3 p.m.-7 p.m. every Tuesday.
Celebrate the move with special cooking demos, a goat petting zoo (courtesy of Swede Farm), live music and giveaways. The first 25 shoppers to bring a friend will each receive $5 in market tokens to spend. Give away of a basket of market goodies fresh from farmers and artisans worth more than $100.
