Shalom Austin presents JAMen Speaker Series

Jewish Austin Men (JAMen), Shalom Austin’s men’s group dedicated to improving the lives of Jewish men of all ages and backgrounds as fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, friends, Americans and Jews through thought-provoking speakers and small group discussions, will present its annual Speaker Series.

The dinners will offer guests fabulous food, fine wine and craft beer, along with TED-style talks followed by lively discussions about the issues affecting the Jewish community, Austinites, and the nation.The eclectic lineup of dinner speakers will include:

  • October 3: Rabbi Ed Feinstein - The History of Chutzpah
  • November 7: Ross Ramsey - The Day After: What the 2018 Elections Tell Us about Austin, Texas and America
  • December 5: Avi Jorisch - Thou Shalt Innovate: How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World
  • January 23: Eric Fingerhut - Engaging the Next Generation: The Challenges & Opportunities of Jewish Campus Life
  • February 20: Chris Del Conte - Advancing the Rich Longhorn Legacy
  • May 8: Terry Lickona - Celebrating Four Decades Inside Austin’s Eclectic Music Scene
