Social Helium Exhibit Opening Party

eventdetail
Social Helium

Note: Due to weather related issues this event has been rescheduled to Thursday, October 17 at 3 pm.

Social Helium is a temporary installation at the University of Texas at Austin. This cloud-like pavilion, formed by an enormous floating curtain (18 feet high), is supported by helium filled balloons. It will be illuminated every evening of the week. Social Helium creates a temporary, dramatic and unexpected public space that encourages community gathering.

It will kick off with an opening party from 3 – 5 pm on October 17. You'll have an opportunity to meet the creators, Dan Cheetham of fyoog and Michelle Tarsney, enjoy light snacks and check out the enormous installation. Visit the Social Helium Kickstarter page for more information.
