Texas Land Conservancy presents Open Preserve Day for their Los Rincones preserve in southwest Kerrville. Normally closed to the public, Los Rincones' steep limestone canyons are home to the endangered Golden-cheeked Warbler and a diversity of native grasses, flowers, cactus, and trees. It will be a great opportunity for hiking, bird watching, picnicking, plant and wildlife observation, environmental education, nature photography, and other outdoor activities.
