The UMLAUF After Dark offers visitors a chance to experience the special evening environment of the sculpture garden and in featured gallery exhibitions, in addition to the monthly themed activities, food and entertainment.

For this event, visitors will have a once-a-year chance to view a Live Bronze Pour. This behind-the-scenes look is a demonstration of the lost-wax casting technique Charles Umlauf used for his bronze sculptures. Members of Austin's Atelier 3-D studio will take visitors through the stages of creating a bronze sculpture, culminating in a live bronze pour. Guests will enjoy drinks and chili from Texas Chili Queens and examine stages of sculpture on tables, prior to the live pour.
