The US Friends of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust: Saving Our Elephants, One Baby at a Time

Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)The US Friends of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust will have a non-profit benefit to raise funds for the continued care of orphaned baby elephants in Nairobi, Kenya. The staff handraises the babies and eventually puts them back into the wild. Most of the babies are orphaned becasue of ivory poaching.
Several stories were published in the National Geographic Magazine and several stoies aired on the NBC Nightly News. Many Austin area business are sponsoring our event. An Austin band, The Initals, will be playing at the benefit.
