Ventana Ballet and Austin Camerata present their world premiere event, Beautiful World, a celebration of music, dance, visual art, and refreshments. Two years in the making, the ballet features the original score by Rose, filled with music for string quintet. The ballet is the story of Alice, a girl who is given the gift of a Flower by the Four Elements - Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Loosely inspired from a poem by Alice Meynell, the ballet presents a vision of spiritual pluralism, demonstrating how a breakthrough in people's mindsets might happen so simply, just by allowing ourselves to recognize the gifts and blessings always in our midst.
