Waller Creek Conservancy presents "New Monuments for New Cities": Cinema on the Creek

As part of the three-month public art showcase, "New Monuments for New Cities," Waller Creek Conservancy will present Cinema on the Creek in partnership with the Austin Film Society. Three screenings will be presented, including critically-acclaimed documentaries and short films that explore topics from public housing to ambitious public art. Each screening will also include a discussion panel with community partners.

Schedule of events

  • March 24: Through the Repellent Fence (2017)
  • April 14: The Pruitt-Igoe Myth (2011)
  • May 19: Short Films featuring Christo's Valley Curtain (1974)
