Originally built from the impressive collection of Texas legend Clara Driscoll, the Austin Museum of Art has grown in four decades into Austin's principal community art museum. With art classes and educational programming as a central focus, the AMOA has become an integral part of the Austin landscape. The lakeside Laguna Gloria location is the original home of AMOA and continues to be a living beacon of Austin's artistic history. The exhibits are primarily focused on artists' depictions of nature, and the preserved grounds are themselves scenic masterpieces. Amongst the sculptures and lush greenery, Laguna Gloria is the perfect tranquil location for weddings, receptions and other outdoor parties.
