Pump Project is an extensive yellow warehouse in East Austin that provides spacious galleries for artists to work and display their creations. The nonprofit approach allows artists to continue their individual efforts with support and encouragement from their fellow artists in the collective. Together, they create a wide array of contemporary work, from traditional 2-D paintings to live, interactive installations. Regardless of the medium, the cooperative act of community creation is strongly emphasized.
Gallery hours vary widely depending on the given exhibitions, so your best bet to catch a show is by following Pump Project through social media.
The gallery space is also available for rent by outside parties.
