If you're looking for authentic fish n' chips, look no further than the Union Jack painted trailer on E. 6th street. Bits and Druthers's owner Mike Kelley brings the goods from across the pond. The fish n' chips are fresh, fluffy and never greasy. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and it's your choice to slather them with gravy for an extra $1. Your meal comes to you in a large paper cone filled with the fish on top, chips on the bottom. For dessert, Bits and Druthers also serves a savory pudding and home-made ice cream. The ambiance is lively, the service is great and--like any good British Pub--you can stay and drink all day. However, it is BYOB, so remember to bring your own provisions.
Bits and Druthers makes a gluten-free batter that your fish can be alternatively made with! That's more sophisticated than a lot of brick and mortar restaurants.
