Bouldin Creek Cafe
In its new location (across the street from the old coffeehouse), Bouldin Creek reigns supreme as the go-to spot for vegetarian breakfast, local coffee and creative energy. With the move, Bouldin Creek updated its menu, adding more options like the "chik'n" salad sammich, a homemade mock chicken salad on toasted sourdough with green leaf and local tomatoes. The servers are grungy, hardworking and always friendly. It can get a little crowded on weekend mornings, but the wait for a seat on the patio is not uncomfortably long. Bouldin Creek is deeply rooted in the Austin community and prides itself on the environmentally friendly policies the restaurant follows, including organic, fair trade coffee and an extensive recycling program.
