Ironworks Barbecue is a BBQ haven for Austinites and tourists alike. Located inside a cool, old "iron works" tin building downtown, this is good ol' Southern cooking at its finest. The brisket, rib and sausage are all winners at Ironworks. If you're looking to try them all, they have a sampler that comes with a tasty potato salad, pickles, pinto beans and a thick slice of white bread. Like anything good in Austin, the lines can be long. But they always have more than enough seating, and the back patio is a great place to enjoy the ambiance.
