Los Altos is the kind of highway-side taqueria that can transform any incredulous nonbeliever of the breakfast taco into a devout enthusiast. The staff is more than accommodating, always friendly, and you'd be hard-pressed to spend more than five dollars. There isn't much to go wrong with on the menu. Enchiladas, breakfast tacos, and huevos rancheros are popular choices, as is the horchata. Some might bemoan the building's obnoxious orange and yellow paint job, but it's just one of Los Altos' many quirks that stick with you long after their authentic food has left your tastebuds.
