This Sixth Street bistro combines upscale and casual seamlessly, bringing a gourmet sensibility to rough-and-tumble Sixth Street. Chef Shawn Cirkiel has developed a menu of fantastic American favorites that will indulge all your cravings and satisfy your taste buds. Parkside offers a plethora of steak, chicken, rabbit, lamb, seafood and vegetarian options. Their seafood is phenomenally fresh and their dishes are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. For an entree, fans of seafood should definitely try the textured seared scallops, squash, almonds, verjus and green grapes. The design and interior of the building could perfectly fit into Manhattan's Tribeca. But if you want to get the full Austin experience, request a table on the balcony for a great view of Sixth Street.
Parkside has a daily happy hour from 5pm - 7pm, inlcuding a half price bar menu and half price beer and cocktails.
They also have Martini Mondays, featuring all specialty martinis for only $5.00.
