From the outside its appearance is stark, only a small rainbow on the sign signifies what's to come. Opened in 1975, Over the Rainbow is a childhood dream come to life, hot air balloons hang from the roof while dolls, toys and books cover every inch of ground inside the store. There are different toy stations inside where kids are encouraged to play , explore, read and imagine. They carry some of the best brands of toys including Playmobil playsets, Madame Alexander dolls, Alex art supplies and kits and Kettler tricycles and scooters to name a few. Based on their inventory, Over the Rainbow catered mainly to kids ages 0 -13.
